Having enjoyed a diverse career that merged the worlds of art, design and technology, Gina transitioned her journey to embrace her lifelong passion of creating spaces that bring people together. She believes that your home is an extension of you, and whether it is crafted of curated finds that combine comfort and collectability – felt in the frayed edges of history and antiques, or comprised of an austere, modern aesthetic, ultimately it is an expression of your own soul. She believes in a balance of the old and new, the dramatic and subtle, the melding of technology with tradition, and that the essence and beauty of a home is found in the details.
After having been in business for 16 years, helping Fortune 500 companies design and develop software products that brought them over a billion dollars worth of revenue, Gina and her husband, William, sold their company (Praxsys) in the spring of 2021. They had the good fortune of having fallen in love as business partners and now are grateful for the continued opportunity to partner together in their new venture, Avondale Design House. Gina is the creative lead while William runs operations. They take pride in understanding their clients’ needs, managing projects on time and on budget, and providing solutions and products that work. This is the philosophy in which Praxsys was built upon, and continues to be the undercurrent of Avondale.
